Life is full of splendor and surprise...

Our story began in early 2024, in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua. Andrew was visiting with friends on a surf trip. Shortly after arriving—and in desperate need of sunscreen—they stopped at a small convenience store. While his friends scouted the aisles, Andrew wandered over to the refrigerator section, parched and searching for something cold to drink.

That’s when he saw her.

A beautiful young lady stood there, staring at the shelves with a puzzled look, clearly weighing her options. Water? Juice?

“How about a soda?” Andrew offered with a friendly smile.

She turned toward him, slightly confused—but his smile made her smile.

“I’m Patricia” she said.

They spoke only briefly—he had just arrived in the country, and she was on her way to another town—but there was something in that short exchange that neither of them forgot. They exchanged numbers, and what began as a few messages quickly turned into deep, late-night conversations.

Andrew was bewitched—body, soul, and heart. So much so that he returned to see her twice more.

On October 10, 2024, beneath the warmth of a Nicaraguan sky, Andrew got down on one knee and asked her the question that would change everything.

Patricia said yes—beginning the most beautiful chapter of their lives.
